Another of our highlights of the year, despite the lack of food and water, was the inaugral Electric Gardens festival in Canterbury, which included sublime performances from the likes of The Boyfriends, Archie Bronson Outfit, Kid Harpoon and Duels in the serene setting of Mount Ephraim Gardens.

Local boys Battle gave us the perfect send off with their wondrous set of epic indie, and it is they who provide today's musical treat, in the shimmering form of 'Wicked Owl'.
