Subliminal Girls are a new pop band with an emphasis on attitude, music and style. Born out of The Art Goblins, Rhesus, Ciccone and Dizzy Moth, Firmly believing in DIY and with no interest in the commercial world of music they are a punk band with a difference. Jim Rhesus claims that they will only sign to a label for a minimum of a million pounds and if that doesnt happen, then no one can have them. They are firmly anti anything that takes itself too seriously, rich people pretending to be poor, loaded art students who live in squats and the NME crowd. "We don't hate them as such, but we do find them a bit silly". Anything that takes itself too seriously must be ridiculed.
