2007 according to...
We Are The Physics

2007 was a year, it was. We managed to disguise ourselves as a real band and somehow play gigs across the globe, even as far as Bournemouth at one point, where we all got ill, but had some nice Chinese food. We attacked this year with annoying fervour and, as a result, weren't home much, which meant our Sims were neglected, but we got to watch all the Jurassic Park films in the van. We played approximately seven thousand gigs this year and some people even funded our Ginsters-fuelled lifestyle by buying t-shirts and badges. We salute them! It's not all about us, though - 2007 was an important year for David Platt on Coronation Street who took a step closer to becoming an evil genius.

Highlights of this year for us include Untitled Musical Project's mini-album, which sounded like getting battered about the head by a very nice shoe. Art Brut, period. Being on before Rainbow at a festival called JURASSIC ROCK in Finland. Guided Missile nights - surely the best club ever. Meeting Hanoi Rocks by mistake in Germany. Seeing Lenin's tomb. Watching all of the Critters films back to back. Raju Dada for £1 in Cumbernauld. Amsterdam's stagedivers. The Great Escape festival. The huge airlock room that sucks you into space in the Birmingham Academy. Putting our tour manager Rob into a guillotine. Ahh, lovely times...thank you to everyone who was nice to us this year, we'll repay the favour in 2008!* (*This is not a legally binding statement)

Gigs of 2007 certainly have to be all of ours (apart from the ones we played at), Devo, Zombina & The Skeletones, Gay Against You leading the crowd into the toilets for 'Gay Unicorn', Untitled Musical Project scaring electro-childrens in Glasgow, Popular Workshop & Chow Chow at the Barfly. Ex Wives with their testicles out in London and Dananananaykroyd in Dunfermline.
